How can one check for plagiarism?

One can check for plagiarism in the following ways:

1. Use an online plagiarism checker. There are several free tools available online.

2. Perform a Google search. Use quotation marks around phrases or sentences you suspect were plagiarized to see if they appear elsewhere online.

3. Check your sources. If you suspect plagiarism, look at the references cited in the paper to ensure they are legitimate.

4. Compare text. If you have access to the source material, compare it to the suspected paper to see similarities.
